The Ouka Matsuri (Cherry Blossom Festival ) is held annually on April 10 at Hirano Shrine. The origin of this festival is said to be that Emperor Hanayama went to Hirano Shrine to pray for the prosperity of his successor, and a temporary imperial ceremony was held there.
